We advised the owner not to rely on a single internal offer and instead take the opportunity to go to market through our full buyer network and marketing channels to confirm true market value. We wanted any buyer to know there were competing offers.

We always want to have multiple offers for any business we sell and do not give any one buyer an exclusivity clause which forces us to take the business off the market while they compete due diligence.
